We all know that one person at our job who is more annoying than nails on a chalk board. That person has an "ism" for everything.

Don't be "that" person. And if you don't know if you are him, then here is a little help.

The good folks at LinkedIn put together a list of cliché phrases that people use too much at work. Now, you can use them every now and again, but don't use these like they're going out of style this afternoon.

Here are the top ten:

  1. "At the end of the day"
  2. "Back to the drawing board"
  3. "Hit the ground running"
  4. "Get the ball rolling"
  5. "Think outside the box"
  6. "Let's touch base"
  7. "It's a no-brainer"
  8. "I've got a lot of stuff on my plate"
  9. The word "synergy"
  10. "It's a win-win"
