Make a Wish on 11/11 at 11:11

In case you didn't notice, today is November 11th. Numerically, it's 11/11.

Then twice today the time will read 11:11.

Will you make a wish? I usually do but I've always wondered why I was making said wish.

A quick search of the internet to find out why I was doing so found out, well, very little of anything conclusive.

There are many theories out there to express exactly what this apparent phenomenon of seeing the numbers 1111 is all about. The most common theory is the aforementioned -- you should simply make a wish and it is believed that it will come true.

Others believe that when these numbers are seen it means that there is some kind of window opening up in your life and you should ask for guidance from your angels to find out what it is.

Then you have more scientific interpretations of this occurrence. Numerologists believe that events linked to the time 11:11 happen more often by chance or coincidence. (Well what's the fun in that?)

One thing we do know about the date 11/11 is that a lot folks think it's good luck for the love department. Statistics show an increase in the number of marriages on this date throughout the world, but in the U.S. and Asia particularly.

Babies born on this date also seem to get a decent amount of media attention.

Whatever you think of this particular string of numbers, whether seen in everyday life occurrences or as a time representation or the date itself, you interpret it as you see fit.

I choose to make a wish and say a little prayer to all my angels in heaven. It's a reminder that I have them looking after me and my family.
