With a season opener at home against their arch rival, the New Orleans Saints 2013 schedule is littered with story lines. When factoring the record from a season ago on the Saints schedule (a .539 winning percentage by opponents in 2012), New Orleans has the second-hardest schedule in the league.

Of course, a team's record is rarely the same year to year. The Saints finished 7-9 a season ago. With Sean Payton back in the fold, most pundits believe a sense of normalcy will help New Orleans improve after a nightmarish 2012 season. Apparently the TV networks do as well, as the Saints are schedule for 4 prime time games.
