The 21st Le Festival de la Viande Boucanee (The Smoked Meat Festival) will be held this Friday and Saturday, June 28 & 29th at the Ville Platte Civic Center and Grounds.

There are many highlights of the festival including the World Championship Meat Cook-Off. Backyard cooks along with professionals rise to the task of preparing meats in varied and imaginative ways, all in hopes of being crowned a "World Champion".

In addition, you will be able to enjoy great Cajun food and fantastic music. Both nights are packed with some great local and national talent.
