Every week one of my heroes takes over the airwaves here at 97.3 The Dawg. His name is Bob Kingsley and he is the host of Country Top 40, the nation's official country music countdown. Bob is a Hall of Fame broadcaster and he sat down to talk with another person I admire a lot, Brad Paisley. Would you like to hear four great cuts off of Brad's "This Is Country Music " CD and the incredible stories behind them?

This first song absolutely stopped me cold in my tracks. I had to sit in the parking lot of the Winn-Dixie and regain my composure. This song really means a lot to me personally but it's a reminder that my life isn't so bad. The song is called "One of Those Lives"

These next two tunes are what really sets Brad Paisley apart in the CD making business. Every Brad Paisley CD is a journey, you will find yourself crying, mad, laughing and in this case wishing you were somewhere other than where you are. Here is Brad with his soon to be tour mate Blake Shelton. Listen to the story of Don't Drink The Water.

Here is another song from the CD that I really like a lot, since it is that time of year and we are all thinking about hitting the beach! This one is called "Working on a Tan"

My fourth pick off of Brad's "This is Country Music" CD that I really wanted you to hear the story behind is a song called "Love Her Like She's Leavin". First you'll hear Brad and Bob talk about the mix of the vocals on the CD and then comes the story and the song that could single handedly bring the divorce rate down to zero. It's a lesson that is lost unfortunately on too many couples. This is an amazing song, "Love Her Like She's Leavin":

Now about that vacation! How would you like to meet Brad Paisley and see him perform live in West Palm Beach Florida in September? Well you've only got until midnight TONIGHT May 31,2011 to click here and sign up for this once in a lifetime flyaway vacation from 97.3 The Dawg and one of our favorite websites Taste Of Country.com
