It's Monday morning and I'm already thinking of sleeping. I may just have a bit of an excuse in that I get up so dang blamed early!

Sleeping at work is not a good thing since I'm on the air. But for you, that may be a different story. You might just be able to sneak in a nap.

If you are pooped later today and are worried about taking in said nap, fear not, I've done the research and there are ways to get around this quandary.

Actually, the following three tips on how to take a nap while you are at work come from a former H.R. director. Here is what she says are ways you can snooze on the job and get away with it.

  1. Lie down under your desk. If someone finds you, pretend you were having computer problems and had to plug something back in.
  2. Lean on one hand and place something in front of you as if you were reading. Then just make sure you're not facing anyone who can tell that you are eyes aren't open.
  3. Put your head on your desk to make it look like you are facing the floor. Place a sheet of paper on the floor below and dangle one hand to make it look like you are about to pick up the paper. Proceed to snooze.
