3rd Annual Cow Island LIVE! Set For November 17th

One of the most unique music festivals in Louisiana is back for its third year as organizers of Cow Island LIVE! have announced plans for their 2018 show.

The festival is set for Saturday, November 17th and will feature headliner Cody Canada and the Departed.

You may recall Canada as the former frontman for the wildly popular band Cross Canadian Ragweed. Since 2011, however, he's headed up his new band The Departed and together they've recorded four albums and have toured extensively, selling out venues everywhere.

Other musical acts on this year's Cow Island LIVE! bill include local favorites Mike Dean, Troy Richard & the Richard Revue, Stephen Sagrera, Katherine Kirkpatrick and Sara Douga.

Also appearing will be Zack Logan out of Nashville and Texas honky-tonk Southern rockers, The Captain Legendary Band.

As mentioned, Cow Island LIVE! is a bit different (in a good way). The festival is set out in a beautiful cluster of oak trees on an 11 acre field. Tent camping is encouraged and you're invited to bring your chairs and ice chests. Yes, you just pay a gate fee and you can bring your own drinks.
