40th Anniversary Showing of ‘Smokey and The Bandit’ Sunday & Wednesday in Lafayette
The greatest movie in the history of cinema is turning 40 and there could only be one station to let you know about it.
Bruce Mikells' all-time favorite movie (and perhaps the only one he's ever watched), "Smokey and the Bandit", is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
To commerate the occasion, Fathom Events, Turner Classic Movies and Universal Pictures are presenting a special two-day event. At select theaters across the country, the movie will be shown on Sunday, May 21st and Wednesday, May 24th. The event will include commentary from TCM host Ben Mankiewicz.
Here in Lafayette, you can catch the special screenings at 2pm and 7pm on each of those days at The Grand 14 Ambassador on Kaliste Saloom Rd.
We will have free tickets for all the showings so keep your eyes on our Facebook page for details on how you can score the goods!
