The St Martinville Main Street Association will hold the 46th annual La Grand Boucherie on Saturday, October 3 at the Festival grounds, which are at 203 N. New Market St. This fun and historic festival on beautiful Bayou Teche, used to be held around Mardi Gras, but has now found a place in the fall for the traditional festivities.

Activities are 11:00 am - 10:00 pm, and include great entertainment from Jr. Flores and the Bayou Boys, Kevin Naquin and the Ossun Playboys, Chris Ardoin, and Side Show.

There is also canoe races, 'Squeal like a Pig' contest, Best Pork Cook-Off contest for cracklin, boudin, and pork sausage, and lots of delicious food and beverages. The actual 'boucherie' will take place at 3:00pm.
