As the anniversary of our nation's independence nears, cities and towns across Acadiana are preparing for their annual fireworks shows. July 4 is always a fun holiday because it involves BBQ, swimming, socializing, and of course, firework shows. The tents selling fireworks are already set up for areas that allow fireworks, and always remember to practice safe firework handling and watch out for the children.
