Are you ever just chilling in your house and see something and realize you haven't cleaned it since the Clinton administration?

Yeah, time to clean that thing!

There are a lot of things around the house that we should clean more often but life gets in the way.

Here is a list of five things you should really clean more often:

  1. Your Phone -- You touch it up to 150 times a day. Even more if you're a teenager! A recent study that tested some 50 phones found 7,000 different types of bacteria on them. You should be wiping down your phone every single day.
  2. Your Sheets -- Millions of dead skin cells end up in the fabric and attract dust mites. It is recommended to wash your sheets every week. You should also wash your pillows (yes, the whole thing) once every three months. And finally, you should vacuum or steam clean your mattress every six months.
  3. Bras -- From what they tell me, they come in contact with a lot of sweat. Thus, you're supposed to hand-wash them in the sink every two or three times you wear them.
  4. Kitchen Towels -- You should only use them once before washing them. A recent study found 25% of towels held E. coli.
  5. Your Purse -- You should wipe down the inside and outside once a week with antibacterial wipes. (Come on ladies, it's a Michael Kors, keep it clean.) Everything you put in there comes in contact with bacteria.
