If you wake up in the middle of I-10 with cars buzzing by you really fast you probably needed more sleep. If you're in the middle of that operation and your head falls into the incision, you probably need more sleep. But chronic lack of sleep can lead to a host of health problems—such as high blood pressure, obesity, depression, irregular hormone production, a weakened immune system, memory lapses, constant irritability, and decreased concentration and reaction times.
