We have so many traditions in Acadiana, and one of the most beloved is the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival. The inaugural crustacean celebration happened in 1960 and has been going strong ever since. Nola.com has just published some vintage pictures from the festival and from Jazzfest, and they're pretty amazing.

Below you'll see pictures from the 60s and 70s. Do you know anyone in these pictures? Nola.com has more of these vintage pictures, and some from different places around Louisiana. Definitely make sure you check them out over nola.com.
