If you're a parent now, then you probably didn't "get" some of things your parents would talk about. You know, stuff like drive-in movies or candy for a penny! Now it's our turn to educate our kids on how great they have it now and how things used to be.

Enjoy this list from our friends at Buzzfeed of "seven things you'll have to explain to your kids one day":

1.)  Smoking and non-smoking sections in restaurants.

2.)  Why we used to buy maps, and how they were so hard to re-fold.

3.)  Taking a photo and not getting to see how it came out instantly.

4.)  Dialing star-69.

5.)  Taping a song off the radio so you could hear it whenever you want.

6.)  How the only way to get song lyrics was to hope the band or artist printed them inside the tape or CD liner notes.

7.)  How you used to have your friends' phone numbers MEMORIZED and why you used to have to talk to their parents sometimes when you called them.
