Not one, but two endangered whooping cranes have been found shot dead in Acadia Parish, and the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Enforcement Division is looking find whoever is responsible.

A $9K reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person, or persons responsible for the illegal killing of these whooping cranes.

The two cranes where discovered May 20th south of Rayne, off of Hwy. 35.
