How young is too young when offering a Division I football scholarship? In the case of 9th grade phenom Dylan Moses, not young enough. He had offers from 8 major football schools by the time he was in 8th grade. Now, a young man who isn't scheduled to finish high school until 2017, made LSU fans happy by committing to the Tigers today.

Moses appeared on the cover of ESPN The Magazine (pictured left) back in July. Only 15 years old, the running back and inside linebacker from University Lab in Baton Rouge is 6-foot-1, 220-pounds, runs a 4.5 40, and has a 33-inch vertical.

While many pundits will claim a 15 year old prospect committing on a scholarship offer is "ridiculous", they need to remember how ridiculous Moses' skill set is.

In addition to LSU, Moses received scholarship offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida St., Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Texas, and UCLA just to name a few. Despite committing to LSU, barring injuries or off the field issues, Moses will still be recruited by major colleges across America, in hopes that his commitment can be swayed.
