A Few Tasty ‘Recipes’ To Kick Back With While Listening to Classic Country Saturday Night

We always love to assist in making your Saturday nights a little better by playing your favorite oldie like George Jones, Hank Jr., Vern Gosdin, and Mrs. Dolly during Acadiana's Largest Cocktail Party, Classic Country Saturday Night. However, we can't leave out our other good friends. What about good ole Jim, Jose, and Jack? How could we ever leave these fine folks out?!

We wanted to turn it up a notch and give you just a little more assistance with "pumping up the party." Here are just a few recipes for great drink mixes to try out tonight while your radios are turned up with CCSN!

Let's start with the basics:

• Crown...and coke
• Jack...and coke
• Crown and sprite/7-Up
• Gin and Tonic
• Vodka Tonic

How about some with a little kick:

For the margarita lovers, there are SO many to chose from like Hawaiian, peach, apple, golden, pomegranate, and the famous strawberry. For the martini lovers, you also have a couple different choices like apple, cranberry (crantini), April rain, tea tini, or with just a little vodka.

There is also the option of staying simple with, hmm, maybe a...Bloody Mary? Mmm Mmm Mmm. All you need is:

• A little vodka
• A little tomato juice
• A little Tabasco
• A dash of Worcestershire
• A little lemon juice
• A pinch of salt
• A few veggies like celery and green beans
• AND A WHOLE LOT-A LOVE!!!!
