Aaron Tippin, Joe Diffie and Sammy Kershaw joined forces earlier this year when they hit the road together for the Roots and Boots Tour. Playing together for their diehard fans went so well that now the three country music legends are going to release an album together.

The trio of longtime country music singers will release a 12-track album, 'All in the Same Boat,' on May 28.

"The idea for this album came about after the success of our Roots & Boots Tour," Kershaw explains in a statement. "Joe and Aaron and I go out together on the road and play and do our hits and the fans go nuts… so we thought, 'why not just make this tour an album?'"

The album will include some new recordings of old songs, like Tippin's 'Kiss This' and Kershaw's 'She Don't Know She's Beautiful.' Diffie will add a few new tunes and a cover song to the mix, too.

"I decided to go with two brand new songs and one old Neil Young song, 'Heart of Gold,' for my tunes on the album," Diffie shares. "I think fans will really enjoy the whole thing. We had as much fun making the album as we do on the road!"
Tippin, Kershaw and Diffie have each racked up several chart-topping hits in the past 30 years, which made them some of the most well-known country artists in the '90s. Some of their hits are so popular that even country newcomers know every word.
Starting May 14, fans can preorder 'All in the Same Boat' on iTunes and Amazon. The record will be available for purchase on store shelves and digital retailers on May 28.
