Abbeville Family Asking For Donations After Home Burns Down

There's no such thing as a good time for bad luck, but when something like this happens this time of year it just seems extra tragic.

The family of 5 from Abbeville is asking for help after their home burned down, destroying everything they owned including the kid's Christmas presents.

The Mom says they have nothing left.

"I just lost my mom not long ago and only had a couple things from her, which all burnt in the fire," Kristi Cormier said. "That's what really bothered me and my kids' Christmas."

Cormier is asking for the following clothing donations and asks those willing to help to call her at 337-255-5986.

6 year-old girl: pants size 6-7, shirt: size 7-8, shoes: size 12-13

13 year-old girl: pants size 1-2, shirt: woman's medium, shoes: 9, bra: 36C

16 year-old boy: pants size 28/32, shirt: medium, shoes: 9.5-10

Cormier: pants: woman's size 10/12, shirt: woman's medium/large, shoes: 7.5-8.5, bra: 36D

Cormier's fiancé: pants size 30/34, shirt: large/x-large, shoes: 10/11
