Do you have an instrument in your home collecting dust, or not being used?  Please consider Acadiana Center For The Arts Play It Again Instrument Recycling Program, supported by Chevron.

Your old musical instrument can change the lives of many children. Currently ACA are looking for various instruments ranging from flutes and violins, to trumpets and guitars, all in relatively good condition. The revival of these dormant instruments will give the gift of music to worthy students that would otherwise be denied the opportunity to participate in music education.

Throughout the month of May, AcA’s Play It Again drop off locations will be available to receive instrument donations: Lafayette Music Company and Acadiana Center for the Arts.

Music programs teach self-discipline, self-respect, respect for others, creative problem solving and give joy. What better use of instruments that are not being used than to put them in the hands of someone who wants to learn?  If you would like to volunteer, participate, or support the drive please call the AcA office at 337-233-7060 ext 225.

Please note that all donations are tax deductible and donors will receive written documentation of their gift.  If you would like to donate your gently used instruments, donations will be accepted at the following partner locations:
