Acadiana Patriot Anonymously Decorating Veteran’s Gravestones In Crowley Cemetery

No one knows who is decorating Veteran's gravestones with America flags at Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley. We don't know either, but we'd like to say "Thank You".

Ferguson Funeral Home says an anonymous donor has been patriotically decorating the headstones of those whose graves have been designated with military markers.

"Not only have new American flags erected on some military gravesites, but as the flags wear out or become tattered, the mystery flagger discreetly replaces them. According to funeral home staff, the anonymous patriot seems to spare no expense his installation of flags, a process that always seems to go undetected by funeral home personnel."

The person responsible for this obviously does not want the recognition. I completely understand, and respect that. If you know who the quiet patriot is, how 'bout you keep that your little secret? If YOU happen to be the one doing this, I say Thank You.
