Adult Arrested For Punching Potty-Mouthed Kid Neighbor

I am not one for fighting or much of any violence for that matter. But, I may just be smiling slightly at this story.

A 28-year-old Australian man was arrested and charged last week for slugging his 13-year-old neighbor all because the kid wouldn't stop cursing.

Stephen John Moran was trying to sleep one morning but was being kept awake by the foul-mouthed teen, who apparently ignored repeated requests to "shut up."

The Rockhampton Magistrates Court agreed with the prosecutor's claims that Moran then walked next door, held the kid, and punched him "in the rib area." He pleaded guilty to a charge of common assault, and was sentenced to six months' probation.

I'm sure Moran would do it again if he had to. Hopefully, the kid will learn some manners.
