If you're looking for a holiday gift idea for the New Orleans Saints fan on your list you just need to remember the number 41. That's the number that Saints rookie running back Alvin Kamara wears. To say the young man from the University of Tennessee is having a year is quite the understatement.

It was only a few days ago that Kamara's jersey sales really began to take off. That's because Kamara officially announced that he was going to stick with the number 41. There had been speculation that he would opt for a different number but it looks as if 41 will now be Kamara's as long as he is a Saint.

While Kamara jerseys are the trendiest in Saints jersey sales that doesn't mean that shoppers have quit purchasing number 9 in black and gold. That's Drew Brees number and he's not having a bad year either. Kamara's running back companion Mark Ingram's number 22 is running a close third behind Brees and Kamara.

According to the NFL Shop, the top-selling jersey is that of Carson Wentz of the Philadelphia Eagles. He is followed by Dak Prescot of the Dallas Cowboys. What's odd about the October sales numbers for top-selling jerseys at the NFL Shop is that four of the players in the top 10 Aaron Rodgers, Deshaun Watson, and Odell Beckham Jr. are out with injuries, while Ezekiel Elliot of the Cowboys is suspended.
