Riding a motorcycle is tough enough. It's not that riding is tough, it's the fact that there are other motorist who aren't looking out for bikes that makes it tough. Then there are road hazards that are a much bigger deal on a bike.

For many cars a pothole or speed bump is no big deal. You might shake your fillings loose or mess up your suspension a little but usually no harm no foul. Speed bumps are much different on a motorcycle.

Just watch this video of an officer in Mexico City. He is part of the President of Mexico's motorcade. I am guessing he will remember that speed bump for the rest of his career.
