All of Acadiana is buzzing about the three amazing Garth Brooks shows in the Cajundome this past weekend. The consensus is that the man can just flat-out entertain like no one else.

He knows where his bread is buttered -- with the old stuff!

I went to the Friday and Saturday show and while he played a lot of the same songs both night, he changed things just enough that it seemed like I was seeing him years apart.

One of the neat things is that he recorded at least one song for a possible release later on. That song? Of course, "Callin' Baton Rouge".

There are rumblings that all the concerts are being recorded for a live album but we couldn't get Garth to either confirm or deny that.

Again, I can tell you for sure that the aforementioned unofficial LSU anthem was recorded live and will likely be used later. Garth told me on Saturday that he got to listen to the Friday recording and it sounded fantastic!

We hope you enjoy these great pictures taken for us by our friend Paul Kieu, photographer to the stars. (Ok, sometimes he snaps shots of regular people too.)
