'Race Against the Clock Marathon' Blood Drive Thursday & Friday

Don't be late to save a life. 97.3 The Dawg is teaming up with United Blood Services this Thursday and Friday for the annual Race Against the Clock Marathon blood drive event.

This year's event comes at the perfect time as reserves of blood are approaching a critical level. And that's where you step in to help!

The event will be held at United Blood Services, located at 1503 Bertrand Drive in Lafayette, on Thursday, July 14 from 7:00am to 10:00pm and continues Friday, July 15 from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

We know you'll be donating because you want to help your friends and neighbors, but there's also plenty of prizes and goodies to be had.

All donors will receive a "Race Against the Clock" event t-shirt and the following coupons: free McDonald's smoothie, free Nothing Bundt Cakes buntlet, free La Madeleine pastry, free Auntie Anne's pretzel and $10 free Comet Cleaners dry cleaning (all items while supplies last).
Donors will be entered to win over 260 hourly and grand prizes including: $1000 in Visa Cards, Elton John concert tickets, Apple iPad Air, 55 inch Smart TV, jewelry, restaurant gift cards and much more!
Special prize drawing: One $250 Visa Card winner on Thursday and another $250 Visa Card winner on Friday!
One lucky donor will also be selected as a finalist in the Dream Vacation giveaway. Destination is the winner's choice. Travel and lodging covered up to $6,000.
