Arc of Acadiana Mardi Gras Bead Drive in Full Swing

The Arc of Acadiana and Lafayette Auto Dealers Association is committed to securing for all people with disabilities the opportunity to develop, participate and live life to their fullest potential, which includes job training and employment.

Now through March 31, LADA will be sponsoring a Mardi Gras Bead Drive. The beads will be collected, detangled, recycled and resold, all of which provide employment opportunities to the Arc's clients in Acadiana with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Unwanted beads can be dropped off at any of the following LADA dealerships:

• Hub City Ford

• Service Chevrolet

• Southwest Volkswagon

• Acadiana Dodge, Mazda

• Giles Nissan, Volvo, Subaru

• Sterling Kia, Hyundai, Suzuki

• Courtesy GMC, Buick, Cadillac

• Hampton Toyota, Scion, Mitsubishi

• Moss Motors Honda, BMW, Mercedes-Benz
