Are the New Orleans Saints looking to trade one of their best offensive players from last season?

Of course, Ingram was suspended for the first four games of the 2018 season by the NFL on Tuesday, for violating the league's policy on PED's, so any trade could be a long way off.

The 29-year old Ingram is entering the final year of his contract with the Saints, with a base salary of $4 million.

Rapoport also reports that Ingram wants a new contract and will not participate in any of the Saints’ voluntary offseason work unless he gets a new deal.

A 2011 first-round draft choice by the Saints out of Alabama, Ingram rushed for a 1,124 yards and 12 touchdowns last season, both career-highs, while being named to the Pro Bowl for the second time in his career.

The second-leading rusher in Saints' history, Ingram has rushed for 5,362 yards and 44 touchdowns.
