There is a lot of trouble you can get into on the internet. It's like a giant information superhighway complete with gutters that can drain right into your living room or laptop. One of the bigger news stories to be vetted from the web over the past few weeks has been the release of hacked information from a website known as Ashley Madison.com.

This site is basically a hookup site where those seeking to have relations outside their marriage could arrange to meet others looking for a similar situation could connect. The site promised to be very discrete and  protect the privacy of it's users and subscribers. Well, that didn't work.

Already we are seeing celebrities and politicians scramble and run for cover as the fall out  from this hack of private information has become public. One of the more interesting statistics from data is that one southern state leads the way in matrimonial indiscretion. That state is Alabama.

I am kind of surprised by that. While Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi usually find themselves closely bunched on lists that concern bad things, this time Louisiana and Mississippi are some of the states where marriage and fidelity are held in a much higher regard.

I am not surprised that behind Alabama comes Washington D.C. and Colorado. Both of those places seem to have a more liberal view on traditional values than we do here in Louisiana. It is also not surprising how many of the registered accounts appear to be connected to .gov emails. Those crazy politicians just aren't happy if they aren't screwing somebody are they.
