Atchafalaya Performing at DTA! Tonight in Downtown Lafayette

The band Atchafalaya will be playing tonight for Downtown Alive! at Parc Sans Souci.

The boys are celebrating 40 years of performing. Actually, it's nearly that many years to the date, as their first gig together was on Halloween night in 1978.

The party begins at 5:00 pm with the DTA! Happiest Hour at Parc Sans Souci with The Greenroom.

Then Atchafalaya hits the stage at 6:00 pm. They will also be joined by special guest Zachary Richard.

DTA! Kids also begins at 6:00 pm with free educational activities provided by the Lafayette Public Library. Other entertainment includes MLR Magic showcasing their annual character balloons and face-painting.

As always, DTA! is funded through drink sales, so leave your ice chests at home. Smoking and pets are not allowed to encourage a safe and family-friendly event for all.
