LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) — Trustees of the Lafayette Public Trust Financing Authority are expected to discuss a Louisiana legislative auditor's report critical of authority operations when they meet on Tuesday.

The Advertiser reports the audit, released in June, recommends the authority conduct ethics training, adopt an annual budget and implement a strategy for approving projects.

The assessment was based on concerns raised by the Lafayette City-Parish Council.

Authority Chairman John Arceneaux says the authority already has addressed some issues raised in the report.

The trustees meeting is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Lafayette City Hall. It is open to the public.
