Growing up in New Orleans, I knew I wanted to be a DJ since I was a kid. I eventually got the opportunity to be on-air and haven't looked back since. Being in radio, I've had the opportunity to DJ at clubs across the gulf coast. I was raised on Star Wars, spent post-college years with South Park, and am a fan of Game of Thrones and living the cruise ship life (rarely).

Lafayette Native Gil Meche Retires
Acadiana High Wreckin' Rams may have a couple of state championships in football, but my buddy Scott McCullough has done a pretty good job with the baseball team for years too. One of the best players to come out of that program just announced his retirement at age 32 after battling arm troubles...

Congressman Charles Boustany joined Bruce & Kennel Club this morning for his regular chat. Among the topics covered included health care and his reaction to the shootings in Arizona. Listen to the interview here:

1. 18-year-old Amanda Byrne of Rowe, New Mexico is no longer with us. She apparently thought it a good idea to job on some railroad tracks while listening to music on her headphones. The engineer that struck her said he sounded the emergency horn several, all to no avail.

Celebrity Apprentice Cast Announced
The new cast of Celebrity Apprentice has been revealed to the free world and to my surprise Octomom was conveniently left off the list. But there's plenty "real" stars that will be vying for the comb overed one's affection. Here's the list of "celebrities":
Bark Back Game 1/14/11
It was on this date back in 1976 that this legendary artist netted four Grammy nominations, including Record of the Year, for "Rhinestone Cowboy". A snazzy boot wearer I might add!

“Ferris Beuller” House For Sale
It’s been 25 years since that red Ferrari 250 drove itself right through the glass garage of Cameron Frye’s Highland Park house. But the house itself, famously featured in 1986′s Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, is still as schmancy as ever. Not only that — it’s now for sale.

We've all had to change a flat tire a time or two in our lives right? Well I guess I mean guys because ladies just call a guy or AAA. Check out this video and see what quite possibly could be someone with a little Cajun blood in them.
American Idol Changes
Things will be a little different on this year's American Idol. Besides the fact that the only original judge remaining will be our Dawg Randy Jackson, the format of dwindling down the contestants by gender is getting tweaked.
