Ian Auzenne

Hey, all!  I'm Ian Auzenne, the weekend guy.  I'm a graduate of Beau Chêne High School and Princeton University.  In addition to playing Acadiana's best country, I also work in local TV, dabble in sports broadcasting, officiate high school and recreational volleyball and softball.  When I'm not working, I (attempt to) play tennis and bowl.  I enjoy all types of music and love discovering new sounds.  It's a pleasure having you with me every weekend, and I hope you keep tuning in.

The Weekend Guy’s Picks: Six Game Shows That Should Be Revived

A couple of weeks ago, I posted on my personal Facebook page my excitement that the Game Show Network added Press Your Luck and Sale of the Century to its line-up.  The ensuing discussion in the comments to that post got me thinking about some of the game shows of yesteryear that deserve a second (or, in some cases, third) chance on the air.

Lafayette Memories Page Gives Glimpse Of Hub City’s Past

One of the beauties of social media is that it allows people to connect with their long lost friends and other people who share many of the same life experiences. Their collection of stories and pictures give younger generations an opportunity to learn what life was like in their parents' and grandparents' time. The Lafayette Memories Facebok page is providing natives and residents of the Hub City a chance to reminisce and record a narrative of the city's evolution. Today, we'll take a look at some of those pictures that show what Lafayette was like yesteryear.
