One of the drawbacks of waking up with you weekday mornings on the radio is I don't get to wake up with my family, except on weekends. Because I am usually up at 3 am even on Saturday and Sunday, I like to do something special for Jill and the kids for weekend breakfast. I think cooking is a great way to show how much you care don't you?

We usually do pancakes on Sunday before church but Saturdays are wide open. I  found this elegant spin on a hearty breakfast classic that might not be perfect for every Saturday but when you want breakfast to be a little more than just plopped on a plate. Let me know what you think and please share some great breakfast ideas with me!
