Bare Handed Kangaroo Catch [Watch]

Earlier this year my wife and I traveled to Australia and New Zealand. It's a very unique part of the world to be sure. The question we were asked most was "did you see any kangaroos"? We sure did.

The most surprising thing I found out about kangaroos was just how big they can be. Many of them would make many an NBA player looks short. These animals are wicked strong and can kick the fire out of any enemy that attempts to attack.

That's why this video is just so totally Australian. The hunter in the video is dressed in the feathers of a dead Emu. He then leaps out in front of a murder of kangaroos traveling down a trail. He actually grabs one and then holds on for dear life. I actually found myself hoping the kangaroo would kick him down under just so he would let it go.

The video is a demonstration of aboriginal hunting methods in Australia. You have to admit that's pretty smart to dress up like an Emu. The reaching out and grabbing a kangaroo by hand, not so smart.
