Barry Gibb is no stranger to big stages. He is, after all, a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, along with his brothers, as The Bee Gees. He also has a long history with country music, writing the #1 song for Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton "Islands in the Stream" in 1983, and actually buying Johnny Cash's home in Hendersonville, TN after Johnny passed. Barry has a great love and respect for country music, and when he made his debut at the Grand Ole Opry last week he said "I have dreamed of performing on the hallowed stage of the Opry since I was 12 years old, so this is a dream come true for me," he said in a statement. "There is no greater honor." Barry and Opry member Ricky Skaggs did an unbelievably awesome version of the Bee Gee's hit "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart", which you can see below.

Thanks for all the great music, Barry, and we look forward to seeing you on the Opry stage many more times!
