The other morning Jude and I were sitting in the control room and the leash line rang. Jude reached to answer it and the caller hung up. Jude, out of nowhere started singing this, "Nobody's Home...Nobody's Home.. in the style of Beethoven and his 5th symphony.

We then got into the a discussion about answering machines. Yes kids before the magic of digital voice mail we had machines with cassette tapes that answered our telephones.
