Borden's Ice Cream Parlor

1103 Jefferson Street
Lafayette, LA 70501

We have a special place set aside for the Borden's Ice Cream Parlor on Jefferson. It's unique in the fact that it's the only retail store open in the United States. Ice cream always manages to bring the temperatures down, and the fun level up. Newly renovated and in a prime location, this is one place that will definitely help you beat the heat. And remember, if it's Borden's, it's got to be good!

If you're looking for some free 'cool down' time, then pass by Parc San Souci when the fountains are running. Let the kids run around and splash away, and maybe join them as well. The only thing you'll have to pay for is parking, but with the parking tower across the street, finding a spot should be easy.

Let's face it, it's hot outside, and you really want to cool off. Be sure to check out the new Rouse's in Lafayette. One of the great features of this store is their walk-in cooler that will take you below 45 degrees in a matter of seconds. Yes, we know it's not designed to cool off customers, but it's one great side effect of shopping for some cold ones.
