Big Bird Tears It Up on SNL [Video]

We played this bit earlier this morning on the 5:20 Funnies. It’s Big Bird’s hilarious appearance on this past weekend’s Saturday Night Live.

Of course this is all in connection with the presidential debate last week when Republican candidate Mitt Romney made reference to the feathered friend from Sesame Street.

Big Bird joined Seth Meyers on the Weekend Update desk and the crowd went nuts when he came out. The anticipation was that there would be some sort of rebuttal from Team Sesame but the bit turned out be just a few jokes cracked about Big Bird’s new burst of fame.

Quite entertaining though! You can definitely tell Meyers was enjoying his time with any child’s favorite Sesame Street character.
