The family of a missing St. Martinville teen says the female body found in Port Barre Saturday night is indeed that of 19-year-old Simone Robin.

Our news partners at KATC said Robin's family identified the body using fingerprints and tattoos.

The State Fire Marshal's Office reported Robin's home on Bayou Mercier Road in Catahoula was set on fire some time on  Saturday afternoon. The home is located near the Atchafalaya River Levee where Robin's body was found Saturday night.

The arson suspect is identified as 25-year-old Brandon Boutte, of Breaux Bridge.

Fire Marshal's investigators found several plastic gas cans in a bedroom closet of the home.

Investigators questioned Boutte, who subsequently admitted to setting the fire. Boutte was arrested and charged with simple arson.

No officials have announced the confirmation of the woman's identity, or the implication of Boutte's involvement with her death.

The St. Landry and St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Offices have worked together since Saturday night on this case.
