KLAF-TV showed us a very inspirational news story over the weekend. A young boy with cerebral palsy crossed the finish line at the Zydeco Marathon in Lafayette this past weekend.

The young boy, Joey Dupin, has cerebral palsy and has had to learn how to walk again. Still, that did not stop this young man from crossing the finish line at the recent marathon in downtown Lafayette.

Joey was able to get out of his stroller and walk across the finish line and for his parents that was everything. The young boy has participated in several races, but to actually walk across the finish line was an accomplishment his parents will never forget.

Congratulations, Joey!!! You did it and we're proud of you.
