Brad Keselowski is not a household name yet. He will be very soon. Brad with the help of his teammates at Penske Racing left no doubt who the Sprint Cup Champion for 2012 would be this year.  All Keselowski had to do was finish 16th or better in the season's final race at Miami Homestead Speedway.

His closest pursuer, 5 time Sprint Cup Champion Jimmie Johnson, was sitting in the garage with a disabled car, so the championship was already in hand for Brad. Still he wanted to show his stuff on the track and with 5 laps to go Keselowski pushed his #2 Miller Lite Dodge into the 15th position leaving no doubt that this season was not a fluke.

Johnson finished third in the season long standings he was surpassed for second in the points by Clint Bowyer. Fourth place went to Kasey Kahne and Greg Biffle rounded out the top five in the season ending standings. After a few weeks off for the holidays the NASCAR teams will begin gearing up for February's Daytona 500 in 2013.
