Well-known in country music as a prankster, Brad Paisley will soon have his own comedy special. The country star's Brad Paisley's Comedy Rodeo will premiere on Netflix in mid-August.

Paisley announced via social media on Friday (June 23) that Brad Paisley's Comedy Rodeo will premiere on Aug. 15. A press release reports that the hour-long stand-up comedy special will feature comedians Nate Bargatze, John Heffron, Jon Reep, Sarah Tiana and Mike E. Winfield, as well as special guest appearances from David Hasselhoff and Reba McEntire; Hasselhoff makes a cameo in Paisley's recent "Last Time for Everything" music video, and in the short video that Paisley released to announce the comedy special.

Brad Paisley's Comedy Rodeo was filmed during the two showcases that Paisley hosted during April's Wild West Comedy Festival in Nashville. Both shows took place at Zanies in Music City on April 18, 2017; it was Paisley's third consecutive year hosting a showcase during the festival. The Wild West Comedy Festival was started by comedian and actor Vince Vaughn; in 2017, it ran April 17-23 and featured Adam Sandler, David Spade, Ralphie May, Patton Oswalt, Anjelah Johnson and more.

After releasing a new studio album, Love and War, in late April, Paisley is currently out on the road for his Weekend Warrior World Tour. He also recently contributed two songs to the Cars 3 soundtrack, and it was recently announced that Paisley and Carrie Underwood will return to co-host the CMA Awards in 2017, for the 10th consecutive year.
