This fall, Paris, Ill., native Brett Eldredge will return to his home state with Keith Urban and Maren Morris, for three dates on Urban's 2016 tour. Of course Illinois is one of his favorite places to perform, but the singer admits that he's happy no matter where he's going.

"We're going coast to coast on this one. I love playing in Florida, I love playing in California, I love playing in the Midwest and [Texas]," Eldredge told The Boot prior to his performance at RodeoHouston in March. "I just the love fact that I can go to a different city every day and see the world, see the country."

Opening night of Urban's trek is quickly approaching, so Eldredge is hard at work on formulating his setlist, not to mention the whole setup of "the live show and the lights and everything," in his words. He and Urban toured together in 2014 -- on Urban's Light the Fuse Tour and his Raise 'Em Up Tour -- when Eldredge was just starting out, and the artist is looking forward to being back on the road with his former tour boss.

"I had one hit then, and now, I've had several. [I'm excited] to be able to get up there and get onstage every night with giant crowds and also learn from Keith every night -- because Keith is the master of what he does; he is just so amazing on stage," Eldredge admits. "[And] Maren is an amazing singer, so it is going to be a very soulful vibe."
