Cajun and Zydeco Dancers Sought for TV Commercial

If you always thought your dancing skills were good enough to be on TV, now's your chance to show off!

Our Louisiana Office of Tourism will be filming a TV commercial Thursday night, and cajun and zydeco dancers are needed to set the mood with Geno Delafose and French Rockin' Boogie. The shoot will be held at Lakeview Park and Beach in Eunice, and if you want to go, plan on being there from 6:00 pm Thursday to at least 1:00 am Friday morning.

Our new tourism campaign is called 'Feed Your Soul', and this will be part of the fresh effort to show off our beautiful area and state.

Some tips before you go:

• Bring bug spray
• Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, like you would normally wear to a barn dance
• Snacks and water will be provided, and the bar will be open for purchases
• Park in front of the old dance hall, and not in front of the RV site
