Cajun Market Donut Company Set to Open in Old Meche’s on Rue Louis XIV

The Meche's Donuts on Rue Louis XIV in Lafayette has been closed for nearly two years now. But residents who loved frequenting that location for donuts and other sweet treats won't have to drive elsewhere anymore as a new donut shop is set to occupy the location.

Cajun Market Donut Company will be opening a new location of theirs at this location. This will make four stores for the popular donut shop.

They currently have locations in Breaux Bridge, Broussard and on West Pinhook in Lafayette.

No exact date has been released for the opening, but according to one of the company's Facebook posts, it appears to be some time in January.
