Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun softball team snapped a 4-game conference losing streak on Sunday, narrowly defeating the South Alabama Jaguars by the score of 2-1. It wasn't easy, but the 4th inning proved to be the difference for Louisiana.

Trailing 1-0, Sarah Draheim led off the top of the 4th with a single to left field. Two batters later, Shellie Landry hit a game-tying RBI double to right field, scoring Draheim. Next up, Sarah Corbello singled to center, scoring Landry, giving the Cajuns a 2-1 lead they wouldn't relinquish.

Jordan Wallace (11-6) earned the win, pitching a complete game, and fanning a whopping 15 batters. She gave up 5 hits and 1 earned run.

The Cajuns will return home for a few days before heading to Starkville, Mississippi for a midweek non-conference matchup with Mississippi State. First pitch on Wednesday is set for 6:00.
