Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun football team is in New Orleans, preparing for the 2014 R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.

Louisiana will take on the Nevada Wolf Pack on Saturday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome beginning at 10 am.

This is the fourth-consecutive year that the Cajuns will take part in the bowl, with attendance records being set the last three years.

In 2011, Louisiana defeated San Diego St., 32-30, in front of a then bowl record 42,841 fans in attendance.

In 2012, another new attendance record was set, 48,828 fans were on hand to watch the Cajuns down East Carolina, 43-34.

Last year, yet another new attendance record was set, as 54,728 people watched as UL was a winner over Tulane, 24-21.

Dan McDonald and Gerald Broussard joined Steve Peloquin to talk about how UL being in the game is a win-win situation for both the school and the New Orleans Bowl:
