Calcasieu Parish To Hold Sobriety Checkpoint

La. State Police will be teaming up with deputies in Calcasieu Parish to combat impaired driving.

A sobriety checkpoint will be held Friday from about 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., weather and traffic conditions permitting, in Calcasieu Parish. Officers say they will have zero tolerance for impaired drivers.

State Police ask the public to make the mature decision and designate a sober driver. To report aggressive/impaired driving, call *LSP (*577) from your cellular phone or your local law enforcement agency.
