I know here in Louisiana we don't have many toll bridges. But, I bet if we did have more, a bunch of us dummies would be thinking of ways to beat "the man".

That's exactly what happened with a California man as he duct taped over his license plate and tried zipping through the E-Z Pass lane over the George Washington Bridge in New Jersey. It didn't work.

Ashwin Kumar, 28, of Pittsburgh, California, was charged with theft of services and tampering with public documents.

The trucker was hauling a shipment of fruits and vegetables. The cash toll for six-axle vehicles, including tractor-trailers, is $78. After ponying up the money, Kumar was allowed to proceed with his delivery.
